Welcome to the Dorset AONB
Covering over 40% of the county, the Dorset AONB includes some of the most dramatic and varied scenery in the country. It includes the Jurassic Coast - Britain’s first natural World Heritage Site - where you can walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs. Inland, the tranquil countryside is full of rural charm and still evokes the settings of Thomas Hardy’s famous novels.
