On Sunday 9th April Made in Dorset brings you an array of Dorset producers, creators and makers will be showcasing their wares. Exhibitors include Rosa Cheney who grows beautiful flowers in Litton Cheney – perfect for Easter, Kate Osman who works in glass, Ali’s homemade with cakes, quiches and more, beautiful felted animals by Mice and Mole, teas and creams by Nether Cerne Medical herbalist Eleanor Gallia, hand painted porcelain, jewellery and perhaps most importantly artisan chocolates by the wonderful Chocolate Arthouse. A perfect opportunity to buy Easter presents while enjoying homemade soup or a bacon butty! If you’d like to exhibit ,stalls are just £25, for your artwork to be considered for the curated art collection, or to have your produce featured as part of the Dorset menu, then please email helena@alcoholeducationtrust.
10.30 – 3pm refreshments, stalls, art exhibition £3 entry to include tea/coffee.

This festival is the first full on food festival of the season, and with so many amazing food and drink producers there to tempt you, along with some great family fun, it is sure to be a great day day out.
The festival also helps to raise awareness of the local venison that Purbeck and Dorset producers with demos, displays and venison stallholders.

With record numbers at the 2016 festival, 2017 is all set to be as good if not better than last year. The festival is set at Dorset's beautiful hilltop town of Shaftesbury. The town comes to life bursting with a variety of sights, sounds, smells and tastes.
This year you will be rewarded if you come with tastes from all over Dorset and the surrounding area, along with chefs demonstrating their culinary delights in the cookery theatre.
Or join in with the maypole dancing in the Abbey Gardens or take part in the annual Cheese Run on Gold Hill, which attracted a record number of entries.
