Living with a Changing Coast

A new project has been launched 'Living with a Changing Coast' (LiCCO) to raise awareness of coastal change and sea level rise by engaging local communities and helping them in planning to adapt to that change.

LiCCO is a cross channel project with partners in Dorset, Devon and Normandy including the Environment Agency and the National Trust. In Dorset the project will focus on Poole Harbour (including Wareham Banks and Studland). Early priorities of the project include gathering baseline evidence of how this area has changed in the past and look at how sea level rise may impact on it in the future. You can find out more from the temporary project website.
