South Dorset Ridgeway Heritage Project
The South Dorset Ridgeway is outstanding and is considered by many experts to be as important as Stonehenge and Avebury for revealing the lives of our ancestors. In recognition of this, the Heritage Lottery Fund has supported an exciting programme of events from now until 2011.
This exciting project aims to help you discover more about this very special landscape and the people who have shaped it over the last 8000 years
There are a number of ways in which you can get involved with the project, or explore the Ridgeway for yourself.
