Ward Forester is a project funded by the Forestry Commission in association with Trees and Land Community Interest Company and The Silvanus Trust, which has been running successfully in Devon for approximately four years. The project aims to help landowners with woodlands that are potentially productive but have been neglected over time. This approach helps woodland owners to commission a woodland management plan, at little or no investment in time or money, in order to begin the process of putting them back into management for best productivity and habitat value.
