Learning

What is the Learning programme?

It is an extensive programme of learning offers that supports teachers to develop their confidence in using local landscapes for learning. Children are inspired to discover the South Dorset Ridgeway through the Laboratory of Outstanding Stuff.  Teachers create innovative tool kits working with our experts.

It also includes the provision of Forest School training for primary school teachers to enable more young people to use the Ridgeway as an outdoor classroom and helps classes get out and explore this amazing Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty through Kick Start trips to the Ridgeway.
