Dorset AONB Partnership Board
The Dorset AONB Partnership Board oversees delivery of the AONB Management Plan and is the decision-making body of the Partnership and Team. The Board is made up of representatives of the twenty partners, including the five core funding partners. Meetings are held twice a year.

Partnership Board extraordinary meeting 3rd July 2013
This meeting has a single-item agenda: the Board will consider the draft Management Plan to approve it (subject to any agreed changes) for public consultation.

At this meeting the Partnership heard a presentation on the Frome & Piddle Catchment Initiative and made decisions on funding priorities for 2013-2014 and the review of the AONB Management Plan.

At this meeting the Partnership heard a presentation on the formation of the Dorset Local Nature Partnership and endorsed the Dorset Renewable Energy Strategy.

At this meeting the South Dorset Ridgeway Landscape Partnership was introduced and the Partnership took a presentation on Neighbourhood Planning.

On this date, the Board considered the AONB Solar PV Guidance, the AONB budget for 2011-2012 and heard a presentation from Eneco, the West Wight Offshore Wind Farm developer.

The Board met on 30th October to discuss the AONB Team work plan and funding bids for 2008/9, arrangements for a new AONB steering group, the Dorset Trees, Woods and Forests Strategy consultation and Europarc Coast and Seas principles.

On 17th July 2007 the Board met to receive an update on achievements in 2006/7 and to discuss the AONB planning protocol, Management Plan review, Rural Pathfinder, National Trust's proposals for Hardy's Cottage and DEFRA's proposals on coastal access.
