Festival of Discovery - BARROW-LOAD OF BARROWS
Join two of our volunteer 'landscape detectives' for a daytime walk exploring the Ridgeway's Bronze Age round barrows.
This is also a chance to hear about how local people have played a vital role in surveying hundreds of monuments. Optional cream tea at the end of the walk!

Notes: Route is approx 4 miles with one steep climb and includes rough terrain; a reasonable level of fitness is required

What to Bring: suitable clothing and footwear for being outside including wet weather. Advised to wear sturdy boots, long trousers and sunscreen / sun hut
