If you enjoyed the Landance performance on the South Dorset Ridgeway last September, here's news of their next performance!

At dusk on Saturday 2nd September, Landance will present a unique open-air promenade performance, starting in the Maumbury Rings in Dorchester.

Landance at the Maumbury Rings Brendan Buesnel low resDancers from national company Impermanence Dance Theatre, together with local youth dancers, live music, costume and lighting, will animate this performance which starts in Dorchester’s Neolithic henge at dusk, then leads the audience into an atmospheric urban landscape as darkness descends. This performance marks Landance’s first public venture into the urban environment, with their previous performances animating the rural landscapes of Neroche Forest, Eggardon Hill and the Valley of the Stones.
This year’s Landance performance is in partnership with Dorchester Library & Learning Centre and delivery partners Dorchester Arts. Tickets are free but please reserve in advance at landance.eventbrite.com.

The performance will go ahead in all weathers.
