This walk starts at Lambert's Castle which is owned and managed by the National Trust. Lambert's Castle is one of a number of iron age hill forts in west Dorset.
The first half of the walk explores Lambert's Castle and you can see the complex of ditches and banks which date back to the iron age. You will also be able to enjoy stunning views across the Marshwood Vale - make good use of the benches to stop and take in this unique landscape!
The second half of the walk takes you through Fishpond where you will get a flavour of the characterful West Dorset landscape that so inspired Lucien Pissarro.
