Time to help........

Evershot webBy becoming a fingerpost champion you will:

  • Retain local distinctiveness
  • Preserve a heritage asset
  • Add value to your area
  • Save money

As you can see there are many reasons to become a fingerpost champion, and it's never been easier. Champions can be small community groups, Parish Councils, individuals, a local business or maybe you are a tradesman who can offer your workshop or services like Normtec & Blastech Surface Treatment, or maybe suppliers of good quality local oak.

The Dorset AONB now have access to components and services that can help you restore these posts back to their formal glory, including our how to guide, to help you understand the processes involved.  Also available are small grants from the CPRE towards posts restored using the AONB's guidance.
