Stretch Along - outdoor seated activities

If you are looking to improve your flexibility, strength and balance, and haven’t done much activity in a while, then seated activities are a gentle way to gradually build these again.

It can be done from any setting but we would really encourage you to sit outdoors as this is a great way to get the added benefits of being around nature. Plus being outdoors means you can get friends and family involved too.

Watch the video below for a taster session (7 mins) of seated exercise led by Jackie Dukes. All you need is a sturdy seat, something to firmly grip, like a sponge, and something small to throw, like an orange!
