Join Jurassic Coast poet-in-residence, Sarah Acton, for a gentle poetry walk or workshop to connect your creative thinking to the natural environment through readings, discussion, and easy creative writing exercises in response to the landscape.
All walks are gentle, largely flat and last for around 1 hour 30 minutes. Locations are chosen due to their accessible nature and access to facilities.
Also workshops will involve a short 10-15 minute reflection on a bench outside, or stroll if preferred, so please dress for all weather, and bring a small cushion if necessary
All walks free of charge, and all workshops with donation for refreshments, suggested donation £1/£2, these events are commissioned and subsidised by Dorset AONB Stepping Into Nature project.
All welcome, but especially suitable for people over 50 including people with memory problems and their carers.
Watch this short video to hear Sarah, who delivers the sessions, explain what to expect.
